International Physiotherapist Applications

If you are applying for a current physiotherapy vacancy, please be sure you have already submitted your application with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board as this process can take between 3-9 months from overseas.

To assist with your application process we advise that you complete your application fully while in your home country and ensure that every piece of work submitted to the Physiotherapy Board is signed by a colleague who can confirm its authenticity. We would recommend that you do not travel to NZ without this process being completed.

 We will only interview you if you are already registered with the NZPB due to the time delays involved in this registration.

Once your have been lucky enough to gain your New Zealand registration you will be required to obtain your Annual Practising Certificate through the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board.  We also advise you to become a member of New Zealand Society of Physiotherapy as this covers your insurance whilst working within New Zealand.
